Tivian just borrowed a bike from her friend so now we ride around the neighborhood at night.

Interesting that you’d bring up church and community. My church is in the process of completely rethinking and retooling how we “do church” and what community looks like. The thrust behind it is the leadership was looking at how American churches do church and how it seems so inconsistent with with type of church and community you see in the Bible. It’s pretty incredible and it’s been a lot of practical action and change, which is crazy to see in such a big church. If you want to see where we’ve been going with all this and hear some biblical thoughts on the topic you can check out the sermons from the past few weeks
